Going Beyond the disciplinary horizons is an emerging trend of research now- a- days. It is becoming increasingly important for addressing society's most pressing needs. Within the disciplinary framework, the ability to solve problems through the generation of knowledge has traditionally been addressed from discipline-specific perspective. However, it has become apparent that the research needed to address today's complex problems requires the expertise from multiple disciplines. Trans-disciplinary, Interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary contributions combined concepts and knowledge not only used by academicians and researchers but also other stake holders in the civic society, including representatives of the private sector, public administrators, and the public. These contributions enable the crossfertilization of knowledge and experiences from diverse groups of people and contribute towards holistic vision of a subject, as well as new explanatory theories. Rather than being an end in itself, this kind of research is a way of achieving innovative goals, enriched understanding, and a synergy of new methods. New Education Policy 2020 also emphasizes to make higher education institutions multidisciplinary. The objective is to move towards learning about how to think critically, be creative, and innovative to solve problems and adapt, and absorb new materials in a novel way. The present conference aims at bringing together young researchers to address the current issues and problems and come out with the solutions beyond the disciplinary boundaries. In view of this Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya is organizing SHODH-2023, - 7th Annual interdisciplinary doctoral conference on the theme "EMERGING STRATEGIES IN RESEARCH; Going Beyond Disciplinary Boundaries". This conference seeks to see exchange and sharing of experiences and research findings and have new insights for future research that would be beneficial to the society.
The foundation stone for Shri Vaishnav Group of Institutions was laid in the year 1884 by compasisonate Cloth Merchanths of Vaishnav cult of Indore, which was later reconstituted as Shri Vaishanv Sahayak Kapda Market Committee in the year 1934.
